William Berry - President and Chief Executive Officer

Bill Berry is President and Chief Executive Officer of American Tire Distributors, Inc. Berry's many years of executive management experience at the company has been a key ingredient in American Tire Distributors' growth into a successful nationwide distribution business.

Berry joined American Tire Distributors in May 1998 when the J.H. Heafner Co. merged with ITCO Tire Company. Since that time, he has served as American Tire Distributors' Senior Vice President of Finance for the Southeast Division, Executive Vice President Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer before being named President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2009.

Berry joined ITCO as controller in 1984. He also served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Executive Vice President in charge of business development, sales and marketing. Berry also has held financial management positions with a subsidiary of the Dr. Pepper Company and worked in a public accounting firm.

Berry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech. He is a member of NCCPA and AICPA. Berry and his family reside in Cornelius, North Carolina.
