Rebecca Sinclair joined American Tire Distributors as Chief People Officer in February 2017. In her role, she is focused on the people who make ATD what it is and where it can go. Through her leadership, the Company will engage employees, develop our talent, and strengthen our recruiting and retention efforts.
In her two decades of HR leadership, Rebecca's success is highlighted in leading innovative people strategies and business transformation. She has served as the Chief HR Officer and executive for some of the worlds most admired brands in the retail, consumer products, hospitality and service industries. Her domestic and global career are marked with success and recognition for developing strategic and sustainable solutions in the areas of human capital strategy, cultural engagement and talent.
The portfolio of brands she has led include Southeastern Grocers, Hooters LLC, Clear Channel Media, Starbucks and Victoria's Secret Stores. Most recently Ms. Sinclair served as the CHRO for Southeastern Grocers the 5th largest conventional supermarket in the United States with over 65,000 associates.
Rebecca received her Master of Business Administration in International Business from The University of Texas at Arlington and B.A. in Interpersonal and Rhetorical Communications from Iowa State University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Asian Business Studies from Tongji University in Shanghai.
