Ron Sinclair was named Chief Marketing Officer of American Tire Distributors, Inc. in July of 2016. He started his career with the Company in October 2003 as Vice President of Marketing. In his role, Ron leads ATD's marketing, branding and communications initiatives. He and his team direct the company's marketing efforts across ATD's customer-facing initiatives, including national manufacturer programs and ATD's proprietary programs. Ron also has responsibility for the Tire Pros dealer franchise program. In addition, he leads the company's efforts around media relations, advertising, and community relations.
Prior to joining American Tire Distributors, Ron served as Vice President of Marketing for Bruno's Supermarkets, a 191-store chain in the southeastern U.S. He's also held marketing positions of increasing responsibility with the consumer products division of Warner-Lambert and the Norelco Consumer Products division of Philips Electronics.
Ron holds a Bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing from Indiana University.
